Family Foundations and Northwest Jacksonville Community Development Corporation are partnering to
offer the HUD approved 8 hour homebuyer preparation class at NO cost to participants as part of Wi$e
Money Week. This class normally carries a $50 charge per household. A free lunch will be provided. There
will be a drawing for fun prizes to anyone who attends.

Households who successfully complete the course will be given their certificates which are good for one
year.

Effective homebuyer preparation education gives families the necessary knowledge so that they can
purchase a home they desire and can afford. Homeownership is one of the best strategies for families to
build wealth.
