Announcing the Closure of Family Foundations

After 75 years of service, we share the bittersweet news that Family Foundations will officially close its doors on June 30, 2025

What began as Family Counseling Services, a joint effort by the Junior League, United Way and the Jewish Welfare League in 1955, is leaving behind the Family Foundations legacy of Mental Health and Financial Wellness.

We are proud to have served the Northeast Florida community for 75 years and are thankful to our donors, leaders, and staff who have served the community through the organization.

Though our programs will end, the stories, relationships, and ripple effects of our work will endure. We leave behind a strong community — and countless lives touched.
